  • Fast simulation
    • Revision / classical models:
      • Continuation of revision & improvements of GFlash models
      • Updates of GFlashA code and finishing of GFlashB example
    • Refine detailed vs fast simulation comparison/validation tests into geant-val
    • AI-based fast simulation model
      • Improvements to the Par04 example brought from the experience of implementation for the experiments that could benefit other Geant4 users
      • Work on adding testing (unit, integration, regression) within the fast sim tools
      • Introduction of optional and GPU-enabled tests for ML inference
      • Implementation of per-event batching
      • Development of high-granularity CaloDiT-2 (in view of CMS)
      • Studies of step-level shower data for preparation of point-cloud representations
  • Phase Space Information Storage (TBC)
    • Issue a Working Paper (WP) to the Genproc Working Group and ESA TEC-EPS discussing phase-space (PS) information storage and use:
      • Discuss previous ESA work
      • Develop use-cases
      • Particle PS parameters to be recorded
      • Proposed technical solution for implementation
    • After first iteration of WP, seek wider input (G4 Event) if needed
    • Following agreement, commence implementation

    • Maintaining parallel world scoring (including G4ParallelWorldProcess and related classes)
