  • New examples:

    • New example demonstrating Julia bindings
    • New gflash example for sampling calorimeter
    • New example with ion Geant4-DNA XS
  • Existing examples improvements:

    • Parameterisation:
      • gflasha: Add flexibility for changing geometry between runs
    • Medical/dna:
      • icsd
        • manage different geometries (shape, dimensions, materials) because propane cross sections are expected
      • microtrack
        • Incorporation of the calculation of (weighted) energy imparted to the site per proton collision. This is needed to get a quantity named delta_2, which Kellerer’s theory uses to connect dose-mean lineal energy with dose-averaged LET.
        • Improvement of post-processing ROOT script.
      • molcounters:
        • Improve G4MoleculeCounterManagerMessenger utility
        • Improve molcounters example visualization and use through parameter file

        • To continue studies of DNA damage using intermediate-Z ions (He, Li, N, Ne) and validation of the new detailed chromatin/chromosome geometries. (1)/(2)
