By invitation, Federico Carminati explained the foreseen changes of SFT simulation activities for Geant4.

2. Regular items

Open Requirements, pending actions and open bug reports are reviewed. For this last item, assignees of long standing bug reports have been asked for detailed status reports on the issues and these reports are reviewed.

Computing performance monitoring has reported non-negligible performance degradation for the two recent reference tags, despite an improved memory usage. This is under investigation.

o October 31 – Group-2

o November 7 – Group-3

Xeon Phi is now on stage for daily testing. Xeon Phi with appropriate compiler will be added to the “tested platforms” of the release note.

Collaborators are reminded about the importance of making granular and progressive tags.

2014 planned development items are reviewed. 2014 planned feature web page will be updated accordingly.

4. General paper

The paper status has been reported during the Collaboration meeting.

It is confirmed once again that the authorship is granted to the collaborators who made contributions for the releases 8.0 through 10.0, roughly 2007 through 2013.

The Steering Board creates the author list and then individual collaborator has to confirm their authorship with their official affiliation.

Authorship survey will be concluded within this year.
