  1. Regular items

1.1. Open requirements

  • The open requirements, pending actions, status of long open bug reports, as well as physics and computing performance monitoring are reviewed.

  • It is noted that Neutron_HP and Particle_HP are not regularly monitored. It is agreed to create a test case.

  1. Release(s)

  • Geant4 version 10.3 release schedule reported during the CM was confirmed.

  • Group-1 tag deadline : October 21
  • Group-2 tag deadline : October 28
  • Group-3 tag deadline : November 4
  • Documents : November 25
  • Release date : December 2
  1. 2016 Collaboration meeting
  • The Steering Board appreciate once again the local organizers Enrico Bagli and Luciano Pandola for the wonderful organization that led to large participation and rich program.
  1. 2017 Collaboration meeting
  • The 2017 Collaboration meeting will take place 25 – 29 September 2017 at Wollongong, Australia. The Steering Board is grateful to Susanna Guatelli to organize it.
  1. GitLab/GitHub

  • The CERN GitLab repository has created and populated.

  • https://gitlab.cern.ch/geant4/geant4

  • It is reminded that it is aimed at providing to users the full set of tagged releases and patches.
  • In addition, users with CERN Gitlab account can fork the repository, but direct merge can not be requested because of the public status of the releases. Usual bug report system will continue to use for issues found by users.
  1. Drupal-7 migration

  • The Status was reported at the collaboration meeting.

  • the tag database is in production since several months, and the Collaboration Agreement page has been migrated.
  • The rest of the web site will semi-automatically be migrated, but collaborators are invited to take advantage of these transformations to review and update their pages.
  1. Publication board

  • The 3-year term of Luciano Pandola is over.

  • Ben Morgan is stepping up as the chair of the Pub board for one year, and Sébastien Incerti is becomes the deputy.

  • Koichi Murakami volunteered to be the third member.
