Public minutes of 105th SB meeting on December 12th, 2017

1. Regular items

• The open requirements, pending actions, status of long open bug reports, as well as physics and computing performance monitoring are reviewed.

2. 2018 Collaboration processes

• Memberships will have to be renewed in January through the Drupal-7 web page.
  • An announcement will be sent to the Collaboration on the first days of January 2018.
• Each WG will make a census to be concluded by January 31st, 2018.
• 2018 is an election year. Elections of WG coordinator and representatives will be conducted in February.

3. Git migration

• The status and plan for migration to Git were discussed.
• The target migration date should be concluded at next SB meeting and announced to the Collaboration.

4. Drupal-7 migration

• A few issues have to be solved to fully move to Drupal server.
• The movement should happen in early 2018.

5. Documentation overhaul

• The migration was completed for release 10.4
  • The volume of the documentation represents 392000 words across 1140 pages in 7 guides! (>0.5 FTE of effort…)
    • The SB appreciates the effort of Alex and Documentation WG
  • Feedback is welcome
  • Continuous improvement throughout next year is encouraged!
